1418 Espresso Dresser
It’s no secret that the “seven dresser drawer” style is the
new thing of the 21th century. Back in the 90’s, people went
for the 6 dresser drawer or the upright 5 dresser drawer.
People still buy these type of dressers today, but they’re not
as popular today since people desire more drawers in their
dressers. Now that these 7 dresser drawer is in, we want to
introduce you to one of the excellent espresso dressers we
found on the market.
Hillsdale 1418-717CW Espresso Dresser is another standard 7 drawer
espresso dresser that equals high quality. The overall size and
dimension of this dresser is 34"" H x 61.75"" W x 17"" D, which
is actually one of the smallest seven drawer dressers of its
kind. The Hillsdale 1418 requires very little assembly and
maintenance when it arrives on your doorstep, so it can
assembled in a manner of 15 minutes. Combine this aspect with
its small size, and you have a setup that requires no hassle
and doesn’t leave a big mess.
Just like any other espresso dresser with 7 drawers, the Hillsdale 1418
has two large size drawers on the bottom, two large size
drawers in the middle, and 3 smaller drawers on the top part.
The most interesting thing about the top part is the middle
drawer is bigger than the left and right drawer, with is a bit
unique for this kind of dresser. Like we stated in our other
descriptions, the top drawers can be used for storing small
accessories like jewelry, wallets, and medicine, while the
bottom four drawers are big enough to separate your
clothes.
Unlike the other espresso dressers we described on this
site, this one doesn’t come with a limited warranty; therefore,
extreme care is needed when handling the Hillsdale 1418. It’s
not as durable as the Nevis 7 we reviewed earlier, but it’s not
that big of a problem because this dresser is light and easy to
move. Keep sharp objects away from its surface, and use a soft
dust cloth when cleaning. Doing these tasks will keep the
dresser clean and will prevent the dresser from being scarred.
Please, do not use wax or coarse cleaners to clean the surface,
or scratching will occur.
And best of all, this dresser has that awesome espresso
finish we like to brag about, giving it that coffee colored
look that looks elegant. As always, espresso dressers can fit
in any room in the house, and this one is no different. It can
fit well with that old or brand new bedroom set you have around
the house, no matter what the color or the style of the set
is.
Besides its durability, the Hillsdale 1418 has another con:
it’s expensive. $700 is a lot of money for something that isn’t
as durable as its counterparts. However, since this has to be
one of the best looking espresso dressers we’ve seen, we think
it’s worth the price. If you’re interested in a small, solid 7
drawer espresso dresser, then the Hillsdale 1418 is for you.
